Lindsay Aslan, Ph.D., BCBA
Dr. Lindsay Aslan serves as the Principal of Garden Academy, bringing over 17 years of dedicated experience in the fields of special education, behavior analysis, and educational leadership. With a multifaceted academic background, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Special Education and Early Childhood Education, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Human Services. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), further strengthening her foundation in evidence-based practices and individualized support strategies.
Dr. Aslan’s professional expertise spans skill acquisition programming, behavior reduction strategies, insurance-based behavior analytic services with a focus on quality assurance, and special education administration. Her passion for improving outcomes for students and families has not only been evident in practice but also in scholarship. She is the author of Employing Individuals with Ambulatory Disabilities: An Employer's Perspective and a contributing author to the textbook Facilitating Student Motivation and Engagement in the Remote Learning Environment.
What drives Dr. Aslan most is the ability to affect meaningful change, both within organizations and in the lives of the students Garden Academy serves. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, vision, and a commitment to continual growth.
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time outdoors, watching movies and TV shows, learning new skills, and relaxing with her two beloved dogs, Noel and Klaus.
