Jessica Amador, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Dr. Amador received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Caldwell University in 2014, Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University in 2020, and a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University in 2025. 

Dr. Amador is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working with individuals on the autism spectrum since 2014. From 2016 to 2019, Dr. Amador worked at Caldwell University’s Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis where she specialized in the assessment and treatment of problem behavior and focused on training graduate students on the principles of behavior analysis.

Dr. Amador has experience working within the home setting and training staff members and caregivers and within the public school system. Dr. Amador has presented at regional and national conferences on topics including assessment of challenging behaviors including trial-based functional analysis and staff training. Dr. Amador has published both research articles and book chapters. Dr. Amador’s research interests include the assessment and treatment of problem behavior, effective and efficient staff training, and training first responders. Dr. Amador is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International and New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis. Dr. Amador is thrilled to be a part of the Garden Academy family as the Clinical Director.
