DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Garden Academy is searching for a full-time candidate to fulfill the position of director of development. Qualified candidates must be highly motivated, possess superior organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to lead various committees consisting of parents and volunteers. Three years minimum corporate fundraising experience for a non-profit is required with a documented track record of success. The appointment will begin immediately.

Responsibilities include maximizing current fundraising efforts through various donor sources including grants, corporate donations/sponsors, major gifts from individuals and multiple events. This person will manage all fundraising efforts and assist with creating new opportunities to grow our current fundraising base. Bachelor’s degree or greater required. Experience in list management or Giftworks program is preferred.

Salary starts at $60,000 and is commensurate with experience. Generous benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance.
