About Burgers for Autism: Inspired by the struggles of friends and family members who had children with autism, two brothers, Adam and Jason Beckerman, set about to make a difference. Building on the success of their burger blog and aided by the generosity of Chef Henry Meer of New York City Hall Restaurant, Burgers for Autism was born in 2010 and has been a sold out event every year since. Guests have included Miss New Jersey International as well as leaders in the autism, advertising and legal community.
Funds raised by Burgers For Autism help provide educational services for children with autism, train new professionals, research effective treatment and build awareness of autism.
